| I live in NYC and the roads are terrible. My Smart seems to be hanging together so far but the potholes and bad roads will take its toll upon this sweet little gem. Does anyone have any ideas for suspension upgrades to protect the front end and allow the car to better handle these poor streets? thanks

Hello,
Welcome to the forum! I have heard that the kit smart Madness really improve the ride! The Eibach solution is another optiion but is a more firmer ride. Around NYC, that would'nt be advisable!

Thank you Aaron... I spoke with "Tim" at Smart Madness and provided excellent advice. He suggested the KW coilovers and I am thinking about it since they are quite expensive at $1500 a set. I very much appreciate your help.

No problem at all.
I am sure the KW coilovers are a great setup, don't get me wrong. However I do believe cheaper alternatives that make the smart car much for liveable in the suspension department currently exist!
Have any pictures of your car?
