I've been a trico neoform guy for a while now but this time I tried 'trico tech beam blades' for the smart fortwo. They just came out in late 2009 and what's cool is they have a new, lower, slighty off-set attachment mounting that allows the wiper arms to sit slightly lower. The trico techs are also beefy as hell and look awesome with the lower mounts. They wipe clean and quietly without chatter. Came with removal and replacement instructions - easy install. Picked them up online - they actually cost LESS than the neoforms.

Sound like I will have to try them out. I have used Bosch Excel in the past as well as buying wiper blades from the Stealership due to the longevity of OEM blades as compared to most after market brands out there.

I will give those a try next round. When one of my wiper became missing months ago I had to opt for a dealer replacement because no aftermarket had them! And those where only sold in pairs so it came to $35.00+. All the best, Aaron Lephart

I paid $26 for the pair of techs. The neoforms were $31 for the pair.

I've found my original OEM's work great but usually the second set never works quite as well. A buddy of mine pointed out that I have to keep in mind that the glass gets pitted over time and is harder on the wipers. When the glass is new, it doesn't give the original OEM wipers any problems. By the time you swap them, the glass is essentially mild sand paper. Most likely the replacements are as good or better but they're performing on a much more difficult surface. Due to my anal retentitiveness, I swap mine every 6 months.
