I heard about this a week ago, however was not confirmed with management until today. It's only fitting that I broke the news of its inception, that I now report its demise. smart center Laguna Niguel is closing its doors! They will not continue selling parts OR service the vehicles. I am pretty aware of the dealings behind the scenes but would prefer to let them rest. On a more personal note I would like to thank EVERYONE at the smart center for the level of professionalism they exhibited. I have been given a list of the inventory they currently have so that I may stock up for the future! All the best, Aaron Lephart

That is too bad. I hope that you are able to find another smart center that is not too far away to help with servicing your car.

Wow, this is not good. So far, my Buell motorcycle was orphaned this year, and now Smart is headed that way. It's a good thing that Smar's are very reliable, otherwise it would be very bad. Is there a shop manual available on CD like MB does for it's cars?

I have seen a few CD's on Ebay that have the tech manuals. smart center Laguna Niguel is only selling what they have in stock, no orders. Last time I checked they did not have any. All the best, Aaron Lephart

OK I had to re-confirm this offer. Anyone who mentions this website gets anything smart at 10% over cost! Perfect time to pick up some air filters, oil filters, spark plugs, brake pads and other items. I did this Friday to the tune of a few hundred dollars. But very much worth it! I just received a letter from smart in the mail TODAY stating that smart center Laguna Niguel was closing as of Jan 15th. It referenced a smart center in Cerritos as my next choice. How's that for a heads up? They tell me 5 days after its closed! All the best, Aaron Lephart

I guess my "Welcome" to the Cerritos smart car center was a unsolicited e-mail this Saturday from a Harout Boyadjian who is a Brand Manager. Not the way I would have preferred to have been introduced but....meh. All the best, Aaron Lephart

I went down to Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel today. Things are different, in a good way. Everyone in service can be a smart service writer, all tech's are certified for smart repair, all the salesman can sell smart, smart cars are displayed next to Mercedes. And thats just what you can see! Everyone I have talked to is excited about the brand and really see's things moving forward. I would say at this point Penske was holding back the brand from what I can see. How or why I don't know! All the best, Aaron Lephart
