ROADTRIP! OK let me tell you right off the bat it wont be another smart car roadtrip like my last one @ http://forum.smartcar451.com/forum3/329.html but it surely plans to be fun! I once again opened up my cell phone blog for public viewing and everyone to check out @ http://smartcar451.blogspot.com to see progress pictures I leave on Monday the 13th and have no real set time to be back. I am swapping out the rims and tires with near new takeoffs for the trip. I am not however swapping out the tire pressure sensors, seems like a waste for now. When I return I will run my original rims and tires down to nothing before switching the sensors over to the new set. All the best, Aaron Lephart

New takeoff rims/tires today. Front brake pads look great. There was minor rust under the wheel to disc mating surface which I cleaned up. All set for tomorrow! All the best, Aaron Lephart

Got back into town early this AM. Drove from Seattle to Orange County straight through, 20hours. Car was GREAT however this trip was unlike my other one. Alot of other stuff was going on. I will get the exact distance of the trip but I think it was about 3000 miles in 5 days. I did not go to Canada and just stuck to the Northwest part of the states. MPG was a reasonable 42MPG on parts of the trip but dropped to 36-38MPG when I maintaned about 80-85MPH All the best, Aaron Lephart
