I finally located a high res picture that identify's the GPS unit as a Garmin StreetPilot c330! I thought it may have been a tomtom. Now of course the big question, how much? If it's cost efficient to purchase with the car, I would'nt mind!  Aaron Lephart

Circuit City has them for $189, figure the distributor will double that for profit for them and the dealer and the dealer will charge double again for install, so the Smart version should sell for $759 installed.

It's not a "in the dash" solution but seems practical enough. And kinda the "hip accessory" they are going for with the younger generation. Unlike the older generation who may seek another type of "hip accessory". Aaron Lephart

There are so many great, low cost GPS's these days.... I do however prefer Garmin as I have for years.

I love how the 'Daimler' GPS has the Smart logo but I just wish they had chosen a model of Garmin that had a few more 'bells and whistles', especially since we all know we'll pay extra for the badging. I'm really interested in how the 'mounting bracket' is if you purchase this model, and if the dock unit is wired permanently versus having to plug it into the cigarette lighter.
