Hi Gang, i am looking at a Smart, Passion Coupe 2008, very low mileage, mint condition the seller is asking 12,900, any thoughts. I am going to be using the Smart, while RVing, i am excited, i hear they are fun to drive, and i love the way they look, I am looking forward to contributing to this community, G

How are you going to be towing it? I have not checked into the aspect of towing a smart, but it is a rear wheel drive vehicle with a manual transmission(albeit automated). If you are planning on putting it on a trailer, it should do fine. On the other hand, if you were planning on lifting the front two wheels with a car dolly, you might wnat to check on the towability of the car a little further. I am sure Aaron can give you better input than mine when he comes past. Good luck on the purchase.

Hello, Welcome the the forum! Are you aware of any options that smart is equipped with? Comfort and Convenience package, Leather, 6 disc CD player, fog lamps, etc. That would affect the price and would indicate if the asking price is a "deal". All the best, Aaron Lephart

That is a nice RV. I believe the base price for a new passion is about $13,990 and a fully loaded passion is about $16,500, at least that was what mine topped out with. There are plenty of brand new ones on the dealers lots now that it should be easy to get the one you really want.
