I received an email to be part of the pre-registration event to be put on the list to purchase prior to their general news release. Below is the info. http://media.4at5.net/email_domains/nin/63423/images/main.jpg Linkie: Last edited on Sun Apr 4th, 2010 01:52 pm by DaveInTexas |

The link is only a picture. I have been following the leaf story unfold. It is poised to change the car industry! We need that electric smart car, like yesterday! All the best, Aaron Lephart

The first link is a picture, the second link should come up with the registration form. I could not figure out how to get the picture to display in the post. I tried the standard [img][/img] links without success. Last edited on Sun Apr 4th, 2010 01:54 pm by DaveInTexas |

New range insight: http://green.autoblog.com/2010/06/14/nissan-pegs-leaf-range-between-47-and-138-miles-individual-resu/ And 20hrs on 110v to recharge is horrible. 8hrs @ 220v is the next step from there. I really do wish it luck however! All the best, Aaron Lephart

Unfortunately, the range is more like I expected it to be. I need the true life 100 miles per charge at 65mph with the A/C on full blast version. Right now, my options lie with a hybrid or a natural gass model civic. I am also still waiting for MDI to release the City CAT air car in the hybrid form.

I would go with the CNG Civic! Just remember it takes about 6-7hours to fill a tank as it needs to be compressed. Don't forget to factor the energy that takes into account to! All the best, Aaron Lephart

There are a few CNG stations around where I live that I can go and fill up like a regular car in a pinch. The stations are easily identified by the 9 large cylinders stacked 3X3 together at the back of the property. Last edited on Fri Jul 2nd, 2010 01:54 am by DaveInTexas |

I finally got around to checking the price for CNG at the station closest to me. The price was listsed at 2.129/gallon. I believe the road tax is paid up front on a yearly basis here in Texas. The current proce for a gallon of 87 Octane Regular Unleaded is 2.529
