I am happy to announce a future product for your smart car, the ScangaugeII! I have been working with Linear Logic for months now to create this product. It's basically a normal ScangaugeII but it's specifically calibrated for the 451 smart car. This includes but is not limited to the following: Fuel adjustments already calibrated. But can be fine tuned even more by the user if necessary. Engine size/Fuel tank capacity/Speedometer calibrations changed specifically for the 451 smart car. LCD color calibrated to match the smart's dash. Communications protocol has been preselected so that it does'nt scan through all the available ones to start displaying. Starts right up! This is all that I will divulge about what has been changed. Price is $169.99 and will be available in late 2008. As of right now I am unsure of the distribution channels. But I do have a sole exclusivity agreement with Linear Logic for this unit. No setup is required and all the parameters have been preloaded in the ScangaugeII. Just plug it in under the dash and your setp to go! The hardest part was getting smart to agree to use of the smart logo. A little sneak preview:  READ trouble codes Reads Trouble Codes Reads conditions that set the Trouble Code Clears Trouble Codes Turns off "Check Engine" light Tells you when vehicle is "Ready" to pass OBDII testing Make and store up to 10 rewritable special codes to send to the vehicle computer Standard display parameters Fuel Economy Fuel Rate Battery Voltage Coolant Temperature Intake Air Temperature Engine Speed (RPM) Vehicle speed (MPH) Manifold Pressure (not available on some vehicles) Engine Load Throttle Position Ignition Timing Open/Closed Loop TRIP meter functions Maximum Speed Average Speed Maximum Coolant Temperature Maximum RPM Driving Time Driving Distance Fuel Used Trip Fuel Economy Distance to Empty Time to Empty Fuel to Empty Allot of information for only $49.95 above what smart charges for a tachometer and a clock gauge pods. Hint: There is already a clock on the smart dash!
